Find everything you need to know about importing your Japanese car to Kenya. We believe in
complete transparency throughout the entire process.
After settling and purchasing the car, the entire importation process will take between 6 to 8 weeks. This includes 4-6
weeks for shipping from Japan to the Port of Mombasa, and 1-2 weeks for customs
clearance and transportation to Nairobi or your preferred location. We provide regular
updates throughout the process so you can track your vehicle every step of the way.
National ID/Passport, KRA PIN, signed agreement, and deposit confirmation.
These are required for NTSA registration and customs processing. We handle all the
paperwork and will guide you through any additional documentation needed based on your
circumstances.
The commitment fee confirms your order and allows us to start bidding and reserving cars
for you. It protects the process and is deducted from your total cost.
The service fee covers sourcing, inspection, negotiation, shipping coordination,
clearing, and full handling of your import.
We don’t add hidden markups — you pay the real vehicle costs, tax and clearing costs
only. Our service fee is paid last — only after your vehicle arrives and is handed over.
Every vehicle comes with an official auction grade, inspection report, and detailed
photos. We review and share these with you before purchase so you approve the exact car
first.
We typically source Grade 4 vehicles — mechanically sound, well-maintained cars that
offer excellent value due to Japan’s strict grading standards.
Yes. We share shipping updates and vessel tracking so you know where your car is at
every stage.
Before the final purchase, you may pause or adjust your search. After the vehicle is
bought at auction, the purchase is final since auctions are non-refundable.
